What do we work on?
At Shertzer Electric LLC we provide board level repairs of PLC IO modules, building automation controls, along with HVAC and appliance control boards. Basically, anything that connects to the real-world devices. Logic boards are typically proprietary so those need to go back to the manufacturer or a company that is affiliated with them.
Our Advantages
- Unlike many repair shops, we do not charge a bench or diagnostic fee. We will diagnose your board and give you an estimate for the repair. You can then choose to move forward with the repair or not. If you choose not to do the repairs your only cost would be shipping if the board were mailed to us.
- If you are in Lancaster County, PA we will pick up the board and deliver it to you at no cost.
- Our repair fee is $50 per hour (at the time of this post- see website for up-to-date pricing). Since most repairs are about 2 hours you can see the advantage of repairing it instead of throwing it away.

- PLC IO modules- Discrete input and output modules.
- Heating, cooling, and fan control boards- both residential and commercial.
- Appliance boards- Servicing all brands of appliance control boards.
Recycling
Additionally, if you are in the Lancaster County, PA area we also provide recycling of control boards you plan to discard. These boards frequently contain components that are difficult to source, making them valuable for salvaging and future repairs. The remaining materials are subsequently recycled in an appropriate manner. Just reach out and we would be glad to stop and pick them up.
