Design Services
Design services include electrical controls design, schematics, and panel layout design. We provide CAD services for updating of existing schematics, converting older hard copy schematics to DWG format, P&ID drawings, and mechanical layout and design to customer specifications.
Electrical Design
Shertzer Electric delivers professional electrical design services for all our control systems. These drawings include electrical schematics, panel layouts, terminal block layouts, and bill of materials. We can also provide any of these drawings for your existing controls as well, to replace lost or damaged drawing sets.
CAD Services
Our CAD services include providing P&ID, layout, and mechanical drawings designed and drawn to customer specifications. These can be delivered in a variety of formats including DWG, DXF, & PDF. We can take a simple hand sketch and give you a professional CAD drawing to use for fabrication services.
PLC Programming
Shertzer Electric provides PLC programming using the Allen-Bradley Micrologix platform and Automation Direct PLCs. These PLCs are ideal for small stand-alone machinery or smaller integrated processes. And we specialize in upgrading relay logic controls to PLC based systems. We can typically save you 35-40% over a system integration company for these micro-PLC based controls while also providing turnkey installation.
HMI Application Development
We use Allen-Bradley Component level HMIs and Automation Direct C-More HMI hardware. These HMIs are designed to work perfectly with the Micro-based PLCs we use making for a seamless integrated control system. The improved control, data view, and diagnostics these units provide over traditional pilot lights and meters will pay for itself in greater up-time and faster troubleshooting.
